The FFT program aims to ensure conditional cash for assistance to cover additional food needs and support the capacity strengthening of Syrian refugees and vulnerable Lebanese and at the same time contribute to the development and livelihoods of local host communities through capacity building and income generation

Objectives

• Activity: rapid market labor assessment in the targeted districts
– Specific objective: to know better market needs in terms of vocations and job skills to determine the most needed and suitable trainings topics
– Output: assessment analytical report and better knowledge of the labor market in the targeted areas
• Activity: 15 vocational and capacity building trainings for women and youth are conducted (based on assessment outcomes
– Specific objective: to empower women and youth and expand their access to free skills building opportunities and employment
– Output: 300 women and youth among Syrian and Lebanese vulnerable community acquired new skills and raised their level of employability
• Activity: find and offering job placements and internship opportunities
– Specific objective: create necessary linkages between participants and labor market in private sector and ensure steady income for biggest number of participants possible
– Output: # of participants managed to secure full time or par time jobs or internships through support by SHEILD
